History of your puja
WE ARE GOING TO CELEBRATE 68TH YEAR OF DURGA PUJA OF THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR OUR THEME IS ” NAARI SHAKTI ” (WOMEN POWER). DURING THIS OCASSION WE ARE ORGANISING VARIOUS TYPE OF SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAME LIKE HEALTH CHECKUP, BLOOD DONATION CAMP, EYE CHECKUP CAMP ETC.

It all started in 1948, when some of our respected senior members of the Club and residents of our locality came together and formed a Durgotsab Committee by the name of “Vivekananda Sangha Sarbojanin Durgotsab” for organizing and performing Durga Puja in our locality and also undertook some social and cultural responsibility (Like Blood Donation Camp/Eye Checkup Camp/Health Checkup Camp etc.) to ensure all our future generation inherits the rich cultural heritage and enhance their cultural, artistic and social experience.
Durga Puja celebration brings all members and residents of our locality get together to celebrate and enjoy the cultural activities. Everybody plays an important role to make it a success and we always welcome new members in our Committee. We want to thank all those who helped and keep on supporting us in every possible way to make our Durga Puja celebration a grand success. This year we are celebrating 67th years of durga puja at our Locality and our theme is “Ek Tukro Saroth”. Theme artiest Mr. Vola Routh and all respected member given round the clock service to make pandal. |
